Tommy Allen was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and raised in Palm Beach Gardens. He joined the U.S. Army in 1984 and served nearly four years in the 1st Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Savannah, GA, and achieved the rank of Sergeant (E-5). Tommy attended Florida State University and then Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. After graduation, he served as an Assistant Pastor in Atlanta, then moved to Seattle in 1997 to plant a church. He is currently planting a church in Spokane, WA with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
