The grant program has been developed in partnership with The Mission Continues. They award three $25,000 business grants to deserving veterans who submit a video sharing their business idea and a plan demonstrating a solid business concept

Find Your Tribe, Create Your Life’s Work. A partnership of WeWork and Bunker Labs, Veterans in Residence is a highly selective six-month startup incubator and leadership program that provides veteran and military family member entrepreneurs the community, business support, and workspace to help launch and grow their businesses. Accepted veteran applicants earn six months of fully sponsored workspace.

Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans
EBV is a first-of-its-kind initiative that turns veterans into entrepreneurs! The EBV program leverages the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans.

Patriot Boot Camp
Since 2012, Patriot Boot Camp has been on a mission to assemble and activate an inclusive community that advances military members, veterans, military spouses in their mission to become creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs leading the new economy.

Vet to CEO
The VET to CEO core program is a free virtual program that runs for 7 weeks, one night each week, from 7-9 PM EST. Their next program runs from December 14th through February 1st - enrollment is open! You'll join a group of fellow qualified veterans and Active, Guard, and Reserve military who are either exploring entrepreneurship as a career path choice or aggressively completing their business plan.

The Veteran Entrepreneur Portal (VEP) is designed to save you time with direct access to the resources necessary to guide every step of entrepreneurship.

Stanford Ignite
Stanford Ignite offers a program tailored to recent U.S. veterans who want to bolster their know-how about innovation and entrepreneurship and ease their transition to civilian life.

FedEx Small Business Award
The FedEx Small Business Grant Contest is a grant program by FedEx to award ten (10) small businesses with grants up to $25,000 and up to $7,500 in FedEx Office print and business services.

Entrepreneur Development
Halcyon House
A program accepting 5-10 enterprises (with up to two individuals per enterprise), for a 7,10, or 14-Day period. The Halcyon Incubator is committed to solving 21st-century challenges throughout the nation and the world. By helping social entrepreneur fellows transform audacious ideas into scalable and sustainable ventures, the Incubator acts as a catalyst for measurable social outcomes.

Educational Opportunities for Veterans transitioning to Tech
Microsoft Software & Systems Academy
Provides an 18-week (or two 9-week terms) training for high-demand careers in cloud development, cloud administration, cybersecurity administration, or database and business intelligence administration. Program graduates gain an interview for a full-time job at Microsoft or one of their hiring partners.

Code Platoon
Code Platoon is committed to making our world-class program affordable for Veterans and military spouses. For 14 weeks the students are immersed in learning the full Ruby on Rails stack, including Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. No previous programming skills are required.

Entrepreneurial Opportunities for Women
Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) is a premier training program in entrepreneurship and small business management. V-WISE helps women veterans and female military spouses/partners find their passion and learn the business savvy skills necessary to turn an idea or start-up into a growing venture. The three-phases of the program include a 15-day online course (Phase I), 3-day entrepreneurship training event (Phase II), and ongoing mentorship, training and support opportunities for graduates launching or growing their business (Phase III).

While many are talking about the PPP and EIDL, they forget about the large variety of grants available nowadays. When looking for grants, you should be careful and watch out for scams. A great place to get started is by making an appointment with your local Small Business Development Center (SBDC) or SCORE office, as they can help you identify available grants for your business. Today, we have summed up some of the best small business grants for female entrepreneurs.

Project Entrepreneur
Project Entrepreneur, a program by UBS, aims to accelerates the growth of female founded companies by increasing their investment readiness connecting them to capital and investor networks, and investing in ecosystems that empower and support women entrepreneurs. First launched by UBS in 2015, Project Entrepreneur has trained more than 1,800 female founders who have raised almost $60M in funding. 200 female founders will be selected for two full days of hands-on workshops, problem-solving, and connecting with entrepreneurs, investors and mentors.

Tory Burch Fellowship
The year-long Tory Burch Foundation Fellows Program offers 50 women entrepreneurs a $5,000 business education grant, virtual education resources and workshops, an unparalleled community of founders and access to a premier online networking platform. The Program has empowered entrepreneurs from diverse industries across the United States.

Valued at $17,000.

This scholarship is awarded to a female Veteran in honor of Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. “We know that women only make up about 25% of IT roles. Code Platoon is committed to creating more access and opportunities for Veteran women engineers. This scholarship reaffirms that commitment.” says Rodrigo Levy, Executive Director, Code Platoon.

Onward to Opportunity (O2)
Onward to Opportunity (O2O) is a free career training program that provides professional certification and employee support services to transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses. O2O combines industry-validated curricula, strong partnerships with leading veteran service organizations and private sector companies, and comprehensive career coaching services to prepare and match you with your next career.

American Corporate Partners
ACP’s free Mentoring Program connects post-9/11 veterans, active duty spouses and eligible military spouses (Protégés) with corporate professionals (Mentors) for customized mentorships. ACP assists veterans and eligible spouses on their path towards fulfilling, long-term careers, whether the veteran is job searching or newly employed.
